As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We arrived very late after a four hour drive. We hadn't found anywhere for dinner on route due to the lateness but the staff very kindly gave us a basket of fruit and snacks. They had also put the heating on in our room which meant it was lovely and toasty when we arrived. Really thoughtful.
Very comfortable room, plenty of hot water, good wi-fi, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, lovely staff and location. Roe deer, rabbits, ducks and a play ground for children too.
Perfect for families. Parents can relax while the kids have fun with the animals, on the playground and in the pool. The bar serves everything you wish for and the food is very good. Definitely recommended! Visit the nearby mine.
