A great location for exploring Zaghori and the Epirus region. Dimitris was exceptional at recommending local places to visit and also sent follow up messages to ensure we had all the information we needed. The taverna is great too - all the staff are lovely.
Hotel Machalas is a large complex of apartments. It is located in Kipoi village which is in central Zagori. The complex’s traditional architecture is based on wood and hand-hewn stone.

Everything about our stay here was excellent. It's a family run hotel and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed and the whole hotel was in true Zagori style. Breakfast was so good! There was a wide variety of food to choose from, with quite a few home-made delicacies from the owner. We would love to go back to Monodendri and stay here.

This is a beautifully renovated pristine set of rooms with hand painted ceilings and lovely bathrooms. Location is steps from an excellent taverna, the Epirus walking trail to Astraka hut, and the village park lot - yet it is very quiet. Dimitrios was a wonderful host, helping us clarify our hiking trail, giving us food for our packed lunches, bringing us afternoon coffee and cakes on the pretty garden patio Breakfast is plentiful and coffee is good. We now recommend this place to other walkers.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location in a remote village was great, we loved the peacefulness. The room was clean and had amazing view over the mountains. Konstandina (the owner) helped us with all we needed to know and wend far beyond making sure our so. had pancakes every morning. Her whole family made us feel at home.
We were up for a cosy suite and we came up with an excellent place to stay.
It exceeded our expectations. Perfect for family trips.

Additionaly, Marios (host) prepared some serious daily trip advisory plans for us, as a bonus of our staying.
