Hotel Europa Olympia, hotel in Olympia

Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia.

Food in the outdoor terrace restaurant was exceptional - some of our best meals in Greece, grounds were beautiful and well maintained, staff were attentive and service was timely, the 3 bedroom apartment was a good size and value for 6 adults. Parking was well situated near our apartment.

Traditional House Next to Ancient Olympia, hotel in Olympia

This is an exceptional property. Extremely well maintained and comfortable. The village is small and very traditional Greek but has a bar and taverna and a minimarket. It's a good base to visit Olympia as it is away from the crowds of tourists

Hotel Pelops, hotel in Olympia

Just 15 minutes walk away from the sacred site of Ancient Olympia, this charming hotel offers quality rooms, complete with orthopaedic mattresses, for a comfortable stay in a peaceful area.

Nice size room - comfortable - access to balcony from two doors, though didn't use. Location good - 1 block off the main street, and easily walkable to the Archaeological Site. Had dinner at Europa Hotel - Tavern The Garden - have to drive up the hill, but it was spectacular - view and food! Owned by the same family.

The mansion of Dionisos and Dimitras 7, hotel in Olympia

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, The mansion of Dionisos and Dimitras 7 is situated in Linariá.

We had 2 villas opposite each other, for 7 people. Each was comfortable and clean. One villa was a little lacking in kitchen equipment - just one bowl for example, but we got by with passing things back and forth. The beds were comfortable and the pool was welcome at the end of a long drive. We arrived later than expected but were met by the host, who was very helpful with explaining everything. We ate in the on-site restaurant, and the food was prepared quite quickly for us, and was very good, which we appreciated. It was a surprise to see a notice saying the restaurant took cash only, as this should not be the case in Greece. Our villas had good sized bathrooms but with very small showers. There is definitely room to make the showers larger and easier to use. Both villas would benefit from some maintenance - hooks coming off the walls and the doors did not close securely without using the keys. It would also have been nice to have fly screens on the windows so these could be opened instead or relying on the air conditioning. We would stay again, despite these small items.

This was a lovely place to relax while visiting the home of the Olympic Games. It was very good value for money, a nice pool to cool off in, and the family were so friendly and welcoming. Great food served in the restaurant on site too. Thoroughly recommend for a taste of Greek hospitality

Breakfast was amazing- genuinely one of the nicest I’ve had in a hotel. Fresh local produce and wide variety. Wonderful on-site restaurant with really friendly staff. Beware all the complimentary extra starters they bring you- delicious but we were defeated for main course! Amazing views as top of hill and only 10 mins to ancient Olympia- although note very steep on way back. kids loved the pool.

It is a nice location, close to the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, with easy access to restaurants, local stores and marketplaces. It is a beautiful hotel with a pool and pool bar-restaurant. The personnel was also very kind. The room was good enough for a short stay for a 3-member family.

The bedroom was big, actually we had two bedrooms for the family. It had parking and you could use the pool of another hotel near it.

Excellent! Clean, roomy, quiet, comfortable. All is closeby in Olympia, walkable distances. They have 2 private parking spaces which you can reserve but you can also park for free on the street which was fine. And just up the street is the office of 'Olympia back in time' where you can rent an amazing virtual reality camera which you can use when walking the archeological site, it makes it all come alive and is fun for kids and adults.

We stayed in the apartment with 2 toddlers and 1 baby and it was perfect for us. The little garden and the two rooms worked out very well. We also really liked the tavern next door.

We spent a weekend at Villa Aris and we've enjoyed a lot our staying. We were 2 families with 4 little kids. The place is close to the ancient Olympia and its archeological site and museum. It's worth visiting the incredible beautiful Foloi oak forest and Nemouta's waterfalls. I give an extra bonus for the fireplace and the quiet and beautiful area!
