Ecohouse Svaneti, hotel in Bagvdanari

Boasting mountain views, Ecohouse Svaneti features accommodation with terrace, around 11 km from Museum of History and Ethnography.

We stayed at this mountain cabin and had mixed feelings overall. However, the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make us feel at home. In the end, this place might work for those on a budget who don’t mind basic accommodations, but a bit more comfort would make a big difference.

Guest house Lekhtagi, hotel in Bagvdanari

Situated just 1.1 km from Museum of History and Ethnography, Guest house Lekhtagi features accommodation in Mestia with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen.

It is a lovely quiet and tidy guesthouse on the hillside, about 10 minutes’ walk from the town center. But if you have a suitcase with you, it may be a bit inconvenient for you to carry your suitcase all the way up to the guesthouse. But I really love the cleanness of the room and the house is arranged very attractively. It seems it is under management of an old couple and it is a comfortable and well-run establishment. You can pay extra 25 gel/pp to enjoy a traditional Georgian dinner and it’s well served.

The guesthouse is very clean, and the family who runs it is very nice and accommodating! We stayed in a three-bedroom with comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom and WC is downstairs but that didn't matter as everything is kept very clean and tidy. I loved the heater in the bathroom, which is exceptional for such guesthouses! The food was good too.
