I can’t believe this property has been awarded 4*. You would be better and more comfortable staying in the London Underground for the night. This place is a shambles.

Really homely and comfortable very clean and well equipped, even had milk in the fridge and coffee and biscuits, dog friendly. Secure back yard. Very relaxing. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back.

Everything there that you could want…and more! Excellent communication regarding booking or queries and could accommodate a slightly earlier check-in which was really appreciated. Easy access to the motorway & the shop & takeaways are just down the road. It’s a beautifully decorated & furnished house and the milk & biscuits were a thoughtful touch.

very nice and clean rooms, beds are supersize, we have reserved two rooms and the rooms were connected with a small door (lockable from both side). Perfect for a family vacation.
Great location for local bars and pubs. Lovely pub inside the decor is fantastic with stained glass. Special mention for the extremely friendly staff - I had fraud on my card on the day I was there and had to cancel my details, so the lady from the hotel called me directly when I got home to ensure my refund of the security deposit went through which I was extremely grateful for. Good value for town centre and we had a family room so price split between us. Room was clean with a lovely spacious bathroom
The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was nice, but with s baby buggy it was a bit of a pain to reach the breakfast room.
The staff were very accommodating by placing a travel crib in our room for my baby to sleep in
Facilities, the pool made it for the kids. Log fire in reception, old stately home feel was authentic. For what we paid £139 for Fri and sat family room for 4. Unbeatable. Breakfast was very good, great breakfast room and view. Only downside, the TV had no signal and despite calling them it wasn’t fixed.
Staff were very friendly and were exceptional in making my family welcome. They arranged for all the rooms to be next to each other. They arranged a private dining room after returning late one evening from a family funeral. The rooms, the hotel itself and the surrounding grounds were fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel and its staff enough.
Loved everything, room was spacious and clean. Reception staff and restaurant staff lovely, the chef asked if we wanted our kids meal out with the starter which I thought was lovely.
We have a couple of Greene Kings in our area and none have food as good as this one! Will definitely be back!
We are a family of 2 adults, a toddler and an infant and we had the best night sleep we have had in a long time!
