Oxfordshire Country Cottage, hotel in Wallingford

Boasting garden views, Oxfordshire Country Cottage offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 19 km from University of Oxford.

A very clean and well appointed cottage in a lovely location to explore beautiful Oxfordshire. The cottage was warm and cosy and the amount and selection of 'goodies' we found on arrival was amazing. The bed was very comfortable with very nice white bed linen. We will definitely stay there again.

The George Hotel, Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, hotel in Wallingford

Situated in the heart of rural Oxfordshire, in picturesque Dorchester, The George Hotel, Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire is one of Britain’s oldest coaching inns.

We stayed in the Sterling Moss room, which was accessible from outside the main building, and along a small open landing . That in itself gave an added element of difference to the hotel experience. The room itself was beautifully presented and decorated with the added bonus of an iron and ironing board (a rarity in most hotels). Tea and coffee facilities were provided, along with biscuits and bottled water. The room was spacious and well equipped. We would definitely stay in the hotel again.

A lovely old hotel with plenty of character, in a quiet village with plenty of on street parking, and only few minutes away from Dorchester Abbey. Staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were cosy and clean with a comfy bed. Good evening meal and breakfast. We only stayed the one night, but would stay longer if we were to return to the area
