The property is really nice. The kids loved the mezzanine level in the living room, especially the hammock! The place had everything we needed to rest, relax and eat between trips out to explore the local area - including Battle (ie of Hastings), the seaside at Bexhill and mountain biking at Bedgebury. The fireplace made everything cosy when we returned home (a bit cold and wet!). Tessa was very helpful and communicative with us before and during our stay. All in all, a great weekend. We'll be back!

We received a very friendly welcome from Sally and Mike and were immediately made to feel at home. The accommodation was characterful, well maintained and very peaceful. The breakfast was excellent and sitting with fellow guests at the large farmhouse table each morning was good fun. I would recommend staying here and would stay again if I was to revisit the area in the future.

Lovely historic house in scenic rural area with pleasant decor and great kitchen. Bedrooms are a good size and the garden was a nice space to have a BBQ, kick a ball around etc. We rented house and annex so our group had two living rooms which worked well for our teenagers! Hosts are responsive and helpful. Lots of pubs and things to do in surrounding area up to an hour away (Battle, castles, beach, Tunbridge Wells, High Rocks).
