Absolutely everything was lovely. The hist explained that she wanted it to be like staying with relatives, and that's exactly what it was. The breakfast was absolutely lush! . Really accommodating and great with communication. Friendly but not overbearing, private but a sense of family. Just lovely!

The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful, very clean lots of lovely views The only downfall was the beds, the mattress was so hard we had to go and sleep on the couches down stairs, it was so painful. Like sleeping on a rock. There are another 2 single beds in the house but they had our family in.

The cottage was lovely and exactly as described and in the photos. The owners Philip and Theresa were very friendly and welcoming and made such an effort with all the extras in the room. Shortbread, chocolate biscuits, juice, bottled water… so much more than just your typical tea and coffee tray. The breakfast was perfect, you will not be disappointed. Great proximity to Bashall Barn if attending an event like I was.

We stayed at Chapel cottage as we were attending a wedding close by, and WOW what a beautiful place set in the glorious countryside .We were welcomed so warmly, from arriving to departing we were treated brilliantly, we had three bedrooms( a family of 5) all were clean and beautiful. The breakfast was amazing Theresa and Philip were so generous, fruit, yoghurts cereals, a full English breakfast and large pots of tea and coffee, toast to finish. We would definitely recommend BEAUTIFUL
