Everything was as advertised. The room was clean and comfortable, heat works well. Convenient free parking right outside the door. Breakfast was great, many options to choose from. Location is fantastic to access all that Skye has to offer. We all enjoyed our stay, thanks again to the host for providing great tips on things to do in the area.
Close to the Skye Bridge in Kyleakin village, the Kings Arms dates back to the 1600s and has panoramic views across Kyle of Lochalsh to the mainland.

We recently stayed at this hotel in the Isle of Skye and booked two rooms for one night. While one room was acceptable, the other had a persistent bad smell that never went away, making the stay quite uncomfortable. The facilities were old and basic, and we even found hairs on one of the towels provided. The staff were neither friendly nor rude, just indifferent. On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location, which was convenient for our plans. However, given the issues we encountered, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
The Dunollie Hotel has views across the sea to Loch Kishorn and the Applecross Hills. There is complimentary WiFi available in the lounge.

The staff were all lovely and our review is not a reflection of them. The food package made our trip easier because there isn’t much around, and the food was great.
Situated in Teangue and only 30 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Skye Lair features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Stunning location with beautiful views, everything you could need at your fingertips, comfy beds, great showers and a cracking log burner fire👌. The owner Melanie couldn’t have been nicer, she even left us a bottle of wine. Also the book of Skye walks she left out was really helpful, we used this all week.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location was perfect to explore Sleat & a short drive to the ferry at Armadale. The accommodation was superb & even better than described with really useful finishing touches. All the communications after booking with the host Den was excellent. We highly recommend this property, particularly if you wish to explore the Sleat Peninsula & surrounding areas. Visit Skye, its magical & so good for your well being.
all the facilities were new and very functional. the owner has put a lot of thought into the small touches eg charging points, smart tv, Bluetooth in bathroom.
Excellent property, next to main road but still very quiet. Very well maintained with modern gadgets and facilities.
After a day out, relaxing evenings with Netflix and Prime subscribed TV!!! Just 10 minutes drive from the Mallaig-Armadale ferry terminal
Make sure you follow the guidance given by the hosts to locate the property. Tricky to locate with sat nav, It’s between the hotel and distillery!
The breakfast was good. The location was great, 2 minutes walking distance to the Torabhaig Distillery. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. However the best thing about the hotel was our host, a lady called Silka, she was great fun and made the stay even better.
