Bel and The Dragon is an exceptional country Inn. We loved the decor, the comfortable room and bed, the guest lounge, the amazing food and the service from the staff was exemplary. From the general manager all the way to the cleaners, we were made to feel so welcome. We would stay again and again, such a shame we don’t live closer. If you come across this gorgeous Inn, just book it, you will not be disappointed.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Excellent 1-night stay en-route to a family wedding. Lovely staff at a character property in a quiet location, providing good food at both evening meal and breakfast.
Location close to visiting nearby family. Picturesque and high standard of room. The pub was really cosy with an open fire and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Even allowed us to have a continental breakfast after we slept in and missed the breakfast service. Evening meal the night before was lovely too
Room clean and functional, bed super comfortable and we had a good sleep. Staff friendly at breakfast, thank you.
We booked what was described as a deluxe room.
What I go on to say in the negative is a shame to write but it is factual, sorry.
Location was lovely, food was great, staff were really polite and helpful. We were given the individual cottage room which was really comfortable. The large garden made sure that any children that were there had plenty of room to run around.
Perfect location, so quiet and tranquil, great staff, all very welcoming. The lovely outdoor area where children can play. The evening meal and breakfast were perfect. could not have wished for a better stay. Value for money, out of this world. Already booked for an overnight in December.
