Beautiful house, perfect and plenty of room for 11 family members attending a wedding nearby. Added toiletries was a lovely gesture as was the chocolate cake as a welcome gift. Lovely seating area outdoor, shame it rained during our stay
This property is located in the village of South Leigh, just 15 minutes' drive to Oxford city centre and a 20-minute drive from the Cotswolds.

Staff members were helpful, polite and friendly. The accommodation was an experience. Had to walk through a herb garden to the quarters. Really nice. The location was great; peaceful with bird song. Well proportioned with everything you could need. The bar/dining area was interesting. Pictures, a large fireplace; what caught my eye was the cabinet with woven reincarnation of food stuffs long since made redundant. I though they were real at first. The different types of outdoor seating was amazing. I aim to try the rooms as they were all unique, quirky. Just what I like. All in all it was a pleasant environment with all age groups catered for. I will be visiting again.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
A small but perfectly formed cottage set in a very peaceful spot. The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The wool mattress and duvets were a revelation - very cosy and comfortable. The cottage was very conveniently situated for everything we wanted to do, including a couple of trips into Oxford ( using the park and ride) National Trust properties and visiting family. There is a handy shop in the villagefor newspapers and food supplies.
We stayed in this cottage to attend BattleProms. It was an ideal location. The cottage is attached to what looked like a family home but we didn’t see anyone during our stay. The cottage is exactly like the pictures. It is peaceful and quiet. We wandered around the grounds, checked out the wildlife. It was a lovely place to stay.
This is a beautiful house within easy reach of Witney.
Tracey could not have been more helpful in the correspondence I had with her. Every little detail is thought of to make the stay so comfortable down to provisions in the kitchen which were so appreciated.
Bedrooms are spacious and beds so comfortable.
Will not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.
Thank you Tracey
The property provided welcome pack for us which are breakfast cereals, breads, milk, biscuits, etc. It was very clean when we arrived, and thoughtful for kids, they provides travel cots for younger children and child safety gates for the stairs. The location is great, around 30 minutes drive to Bourton on the water, Oxford, Village of Bibury. About 16 minutes drive to Cutteslowe Park. it’s only a few minutes drive to supermarkets.
We were very impressed with the amount of space available. Our family of eight (6 adults 2 children) was comfortably accommodated. The provision of breakfast items was much appreciated.
Really well laid out; comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped which was really helpful for family - style vacationing.
The TV has all the channels you might wish for, bedrooms and bathrooms are all of a good size and well-fitted.
The house was spacious and the kitchen and bedrooms were a good size. The owner was most helpful in getting a high chair, cot etc for us. The provision of Neflix and other TV networks was a nice feature.
The welcome hamper was very generous, perhaps too much, as I wasn't told what would be left for us and so items were duplicated by me.
There was ample parking for 3 cars , the garden was a good size and the location was excellent for our needs.
