This was definitely more than a lodge. Spacious, comfortable, clean, stylish. My son could also get a horse riding session which was great experience. And we loved the playground too. Perfect for families with young children. It felt safe and peaceful there.

We did like family friendly enviroment both in the hotel and the pub. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect for a quiet or family stay, outside the busy town and on the way to the Safari Park. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, had all the essentials for a good night stay. The food in the pub was fresh, healthy and delicious and the atmosphere was cosy and lovely. A play corner kept kids busy and made our visit easier. Very happy customer. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent central location in a quiet street just off the main route to the train station (6 min walk). Breakfast was cooked to order and went down well with all of the family. The family room was ideal for us - main room for us and a smaller partitioned room to allow the 2 kids to sleep in a bunk bed (great fun once the winner gets to choose the top bunk!). Good places to eat out within easy walking distance (10mins max). Also short cut to the Castle (15min walk max). Richard was a wonderful host and we would defintiely stay there again.

Perfect for a long family stay. Alison was so helpful and looked after us despite being busy. The building itself is great with clean and modern facilities. Well equipped kitchen. All the children's essentials required for staying away are available. Location very good for driving to various places in Central Scotland. Also locally it is really fun to explore along the farm tracks. We can't wait to go back next year for another visit.
