Julie was spectacular. Greeted me, booked a taxi for me, gave me advice on where to get food/drink, knocked on my door in the morning when my taxi arrived, saw me out… just went above and beyond. Was so friendly, so courteous… just an all-round delight.

Ideal spot for the stock cars in tullyroan. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. Great value for money, spotless and breakfast was delicious. Stephen and caryll were the perfect hosts. See you again 10/10

We loved Blackwell House. However, it took us a good 20 minutes to find it in the hills. There was no signpost at the end of the lane, which there should be. Even if they just had a sign there temporary while guests are due. We use SAT NAV all the time and have no problem. We ended up in a farmers yard and they told us, they have many people driving up to them and they told us where it was. Once we got it was was terrific.

The hideaway was amazing! The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit was great for making s’mores. We made use of the kitchen which had most of the needed utensils for making a fry up in the morning. It was very clean with such a relaxing, cozy and homely vibe throughout. Definitely would be back. Amazing for friends to have a catch up away from our busy lives!

Wonderful setting in beautiful grounds with an enormous Monkey Puzzle Tree. Great craic by the aga in the lovely welcoming family kitchen. Full of interest and paintings. Even the affectionate cats made us feel at home.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
It was close to our family so it suited us. Close also to shops and restaurants.
