I love that my room was consistently clean. I appreciate the front desk very much. They were very helpful. I love the aroma that envelopes you as you walk into the reception area; it was beautiful and not overpowering. The breakfast at The Gravel Pit was also very good, and the setting was very clean.

Unfortunately we had to leave early because I was very unwell, but there was no issue at all about refunding our 2 nights missed. The staff couldn't have been.more helpful and offered us some packed food to take with us because of my.missed breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

I booked room only as the BB option seemed expensive. We stayed for an evening meal to meet family and this was exceptionally expensive for what it was. We didn't have anything special and the portions were average, but the bill came to £360 for 6 people - which included 3 bottles of wine. It was not good value.

A very good buffet breakfast with all that would be expected at this standard/style of hotel. All good quality with enough choice without going overboard. Restaurant is located next to the lake with lots of seating around the glass walled perimeter. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. We stayed at the hotel as a base for a family wedding. All staff throughout we encountered from house keeping, reception and those in the bar and restaurant were polite and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Stayed for a family wedding, and we had two adjoining rooms as family rooms were booked up. This worked well with the children so wasn't a problem. Rooms were spotless on check in and very comfortable. Staff in the hotel were lovely from the restaurant to the check in team. We also left our daughters dress behind which the hotel very kindly posted back to us without charge. Overall a lovely stay and would go back to try a spa weekend.
