This is a gorgeous little cottage in Keld. Lots of walking from the door, waterfalls to visit and Richmond and Hawes not too far away to visit. Its fairly quiet (there is a busyish campsite in the village) and there was everything in the cottage that I could want. I think it would be a lovely cosy place to stay in the autumn.

This is an ancient pub in the middle of nowhere (magnificant location for hikers) but within a drive of several small towns. The staff could not have been friendlier, and the food (some from the owner's farm) was superb. We stayed over a second night, and would have stayed a third had it been available.
