The location was beautiful and scenic. The trails for walking were easy to find and great for a wander. The room was large and breakfast was good.

The property is old and has character. Pretty good water pressure in the shower . Lovely location.

This is our 12th(!) stay at the Wheatsheaf - we absolutely love it. A great location in a beautiful little village, and a good base for exploring further afield - plus lots of scenic walks. The rooms at the Inn are clean and very comfortable, the breakfasts are excellent and will set you up for the day, and I would recommend trying the meals as they are just so tasty! The steak pie is a favourite, and the fish and chips are just delicious - but do book as it can get very busy.
We've stayed at many hotels and Inns in the UK - some hugely expensive ones too, but for us, the Wheatsheaf is up there among the very best, which is why we keep returning!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff were wonderful and friendly, very helpful. The room was exquisite, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Yummy little short breads and delicious smelling bathing products. The food was exceptional and the service 👌, the young lady bringing food to the table was a joy, stay weird star child. Special shout out to Andy, what a lovely lovely chap. And the views are to die for. The village of Reeth itself is idyllic. We will gladly come stay again. Oh and to top it off it was also doggy friendly.
Our room was amazing. Unfortunately 3 adults and 1 in the lower bunk, they hit their head every time they got out of bed. The shower was excellent. Vews stunning. Even had a fire place. Excellent family room. Breakfast was a large selection to choose from. Just a pity the Breakfast room was do small & snug.
Location is perfect to access the centre of Reeth Village & surrounding area of the Yorkshire Dales. Although no parking directly outside the property as outlined there is plenty on the road and on the village green only a 2minute walk up the hill. House is clean and renovated to a good standard, towels & bed linen of good quality and all amenities provided as described. I would definitely recommend and stay again if we return to visit the area.
The cottage was very comfortable and well thought out. The decor was tasteful and the fittings were all of a high standard. It dropped a little cool so we took advantage of the log burner. A collection of family board games was thoughtful.
Everything was provided that you need in a house, all cooking and kitchen equipment. There was lots of games for the children to play on rainy days.
The bathrooms were very modern and clean.
The house was lovely, had great facilities and was very clean! It had wonderful scenery around the area and it was a great place to relax and have fun with friends!
