Enjoyed our stay at the Merrie Lion! Will definitely be our accomodation of choice when visiting next time. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Our host Daphane was so accommodating and runs a great pub and B&B!

The property was beautiful with lot's of character and was very spacious in terms of the bedroom and en suite bathroom. The location is beautiful too, well away from the main road and surrounded by countryside and trees.
The property had all the facilities you would associate with a hotel and despite there being nobody physically there to meet you or interact, the privacy works well if that is what you are looking for and the host was available on WhatsApp so could be contacted at any time.
The breakfast was wonderful, Continental but all the favourites including bread, bagels, cereals, yoghurts, milk, tea, coffee, fruit juice, water, condiments etc.
