Everything! Cosy, comfortable, clean. Loads of space for the kids to play. All amenities have been carefully considered for guests. The log burner is so cosy and puts out so much heat. This is the first time we have stayed since the hot tub has been installed and it was a welcome feature for us and the kids!

Beautiful house with lots of character. Lovely spacious bedroom and comfortable lounge. Great breakfast with fresh local ingredients. We had a lovely, warm welcome form Catherine and she was happy to talk with us about the history of the local area and to recommend local excursions - as well as to assist with trying to research my family tree!

good location / breakfast was good and well presented - the shower and hot water was surprisingly great, which is always a bonus in an old property - it is a fine old building with real character, which the marketing photos described well and accurately, so we werent disappointed in any way with the experience.

The cottage was spotless and James & Abigail had thought of everything you would need for a weekend. There were so many nice touches that added to the experience like the welcome hamper, the option to have a high chair/cot and stove guard added when staying with small children. The cottage was on lovely grounds and the views were great. The perfect location to go to either Castlewellan or Newcastle. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

Everything! The cottage is exceptionally clean & meets our needs as a family perfectly. I love all the amenities included, such as a fully equipped kitchen for all of our cooking needs. Loads of space for kids to run around outside and they enjoyed trying to use the bikes. Hosts are easily contacted, very friendly & helpful. Will definitely be booking for next year if there is availability. Thank you again for a great staycation!

The cottage was ideal. A real home from home. It had everything we could possibly need as a family, including baby cot and high chair. The cottage was extremely clean. The hosts were friendly and helpful via email. They left a welcome basket that was full of goodies which was a lovely treat. They also left us milk in the fridge and butter which was very kind. The property is situated in a beautiful location, stunning scenery and easy access by car to local amenities. Property is enclosed so it was safe for our two small dogs.
