It was all great, the location, the apparent and the warm feeling that the decoration of the house had. They were very pleasant host and make our stay a great one. They had leaved on the kitchen different treats, specially appreciated the cereal, fruits, sweets and even fresh flowers. 10/10!!

We had a wonderful week at the Old Ferryhouse. Of all the many cottages I've stayed in over the years of visiting Port Appin, this was the absolute best for location - incredible to be right on the shore, and also in the heart of the village. The kids loved playing on the shore and paddle boarding in the bay. The sun room overlooking the shore was such a lovely space; that view! We had a great stay - spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water. We also really appreciated all the books and games.

The house was spacious and very well ventilated. We had a very comfortable stay as a family (5 adults 1 child). Though the listing said no parking, we were able to park two cars in the driveway. The location was easy to find and is perfect. The Appin Community Store is right next door to get groceries (closes by 5pm). The kitchen and dining area were spacious. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to find and get the keys.

What a gem! We could not believe how big the house was when we arrived there. It was so easy to find it and there was a parking space as well which we did not expect. The house is in a stunning location, we wished we could have stayed another day. The photos do not describe how big, nice and comfortable the house is. The owners have a very special property in a very special place, we felf very lucky spending our last day of our Scottish holiday in such a nice house.

Lovely well appointed cosy cottage with fantastic sea/beach views in a beautiful part of the country. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need if planning to cook at home and the open plan kitchen, dining, living area was ideal for sharing a lovely weekend with 4 generations of our family.
