Dunfallandy House Hotel, hotel in Pitlochry

Situated in Pitlochry, 22 km from Castle Menzies, Dunfallandy House Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Excellent communications with the owner, Jack prior to arrival. Once we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our superb host, Holly. Lovely setting, the hotel is stunning, with a very comfortable lounge and a very impressive bar lounge with an incredible vast and extensive whisky collection! We had pizza for dinner and it was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Holly and she made our stay very comfortable, enjoyable and positively memorable. Our bedroom was very cosy and comfortable, there was want for nothing! - All the small finer touches and additions were there. A good selection of continental and a range of cooked breakfast options were available, all prepared to a tastefully high standard. We usually stay in chain hotels, such as Hilton. This was a refreshing change and it reminded me of what an independent high quality accommodation establishment should be like! My family and l will certainly be back! I have no hesitation in recommending Dunfallandy House Hotel for your next stay in Pitlochry. 5 star and 10 out of 10!

The location is absolutely beautiful. The views are amazing and we particularly loved the wildflowers around the communal fire! The tent exceeded our expectations, immaculate and everything there that we could have needed. The toilet and shower block was excellent, clean and modern. The indoor areas were ideal and the kids enjoyed the games on offer. The owners are extremely welcoming and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and fun!

I really cant say I liked too much on this occassion. I have visited a few times before with my partner. I thought the hotel / staff were lovely so I returned with my family but was astounded this time round. 3 nights and £1200 lighter for 3 adults 1 child, not so cheap these days, I thought the service was good before so thats why we came along for a treat.

We were given an ‘annex’ room as a family with two young children and it was fantastic- lots of space and even a separate side room for our toddler to sleep in. The hotel is very nice and gorgeous views outside. Staff very friendly.

Fantastic staff, really helpful and easy to talk to. The family room is a good size, ample for when travelling with a toddler/small child. The lounge is really comfortable with a small hatch with a bar on the other side, so you don’t need to leave the lounge to order drinks.
