The staff, in particular Nicky, were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay immensely and the location was rural with beautiful far reaching views - even in the rain!!
The breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice, and the staff accommodated one of our family’s dietary needs.
Would recommend.
On arrival we were told no breakfast was available as the kitchen was 'broken'. I expected the bill to be reduced to reflect this, but was told they could not do this, could only offer us a £10 voucher each for drinks at the bar. No use, as we had already arranged to meet family for pre-wedding drinks on the Friday evening, and Saturday was the wedding day. We ended up spending an additional £34 on breakfast.
Lovely spacious room with a comfy bed. It was nice to arrive and see a range of hot drinks as well as some biscuits. Staff were very accommodating at breakfast when it came to my child's allergy. They gave us soya milk and dairy free spread when asked.
Location was ideal for staying near family for a big occasion. Very pretty in the snow, beautiful views and surroundings. Great dining room and lounge. Fire in lounge.
I have stayed many times as the location is excellent and very close to my family. I love staying in the cabins in the woods, the good food and the swimming pool.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location of the Chevin End Guest is lovely and the views were spectacular. The room was clean and spacious and it certainly catered for the needs of our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). The hosts were also very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed for a friend's wedding and needed an early check in to get ready beforehand, which they happily arranged.
