a perfect small hotel in the middle of the English countryside ! the rooms were very clean and spacious and even though the room looked to the street , it was very quiet ! Breakfast was full English and we enjoyed every bite of it ! we really liked the pub right on the ground floor and it had a wonderful garden to sit outside but its people is always the best asset ! John was a marvellous host , always smiling and friendly and along with his wife , they run together the family business! we enjoyed every moment there , thank you again for your hospitality!

Breakfast lovely and a great start to our day. Location was in middle of Odiham, great for driving surrounding areas. Staff very friendly. We stayed in the family room which had bunk beds for my two children. Low ceilings, wooden joists, different levels to the flooring, all made us appreciate the historic building we were staying in. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location on the high street, very traditional feel as a pub with rooms. The bunk bed for our two kids is the reason we booked this hotel. We loved it!

Location. Staff were all great. Lovely large room, had to ask to have a better room but this was dealt with brilliantly. Food great, plenty of choice, good portions. Most requests dealt immediately with a smile. Fun weekend.

Loved the quirkiness of this hotel - my room was obviously a family room as there was an additional bunkbed room further along towards the bathroom so would definitely consider if coming back with family! loved the fact that the refreshments supplied were so much nicer than what you normally get - coffee bags, teapig teabags, lovely chocolates!

Lovely room with a good atmosphere, nice selection of tea’s, coffee, and chocolates in the room, there was even a bottle of local gin to try. The restaurant looks great and offers good food. The host was very accommodating with arranging an extra bed for our kid.

Major kitchen extractor fan outside bedroom window very noisy. Breakfast waited 1 hour to arrive .. food cold & very poor, we left it. Manager apologised for kitchen staff off sick therefore poor service. We thought he could have got stuck in to help along with other members of staff, but didn’t. We were refunded for bad breakfast however. Staff were friendly & dinner the night before was good. Excellent wine list but doubt we will return.

Very slow service as there were a limited number of staff on duty. Most days breakfast took almost 2 hours. Good choice and children were very well accommodated. Ie bottles filled for baby.
