Breakfast was lovely! Liz was very attentive and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was excellent and the local walks were so beautiful, even if the path was a bit muddy at times, but that's to be expected.

The size of this place is so impressive and yet oddly doesn't feel too big for two people. It has a superb layout with great characteristic features. Amazing kitchen with a nice big oven. The upstairs lounge is very relaxing. The WiFi worked fine but the welcome book needs updating though, as the WiFi information is not current.
Typically we got good old UK weather (plenty of rain), which turned the rear garden into a muddy pond. This sadly stopped us from using the hot tub, as the ground was so wet. Had the weather been better we would have definitely used it.

Beautiful location , quiet and peaceful, very good food in both restaurants, really enjoyable breakfast. I had a spa treatment sea spray detox with full body massage . Felt great after. The hotel and spa staff are friendly and helpful. First night, our radiator didn't work in the room, which was very cold, we reported it to the receptionist, and they immediately moved us to another room and upgraded us to a suite we will definitely be staying again .

It was a peaceful destination with beautiful views. The staff were exceptional very friendly and approachable.

Beautiful building set in lovely setting. We arrived early evening to a pianist playing which was so nice. Staff were excellent - very attentive and helpful.
We had two dogs with us on this trip and the room was set up with two mats, two sets of bowls and doggy bags which was a nice touch.
We ate in the restaurant and had a really tasty and enjoyable meal.
Having stayed at both Alexander hotel and Ashdown Park hotel as comparisons I would thoroughly recommend staying here and will certainly visit again.
