Such a quiet and calming place to stay, really easy to switch off. Sitting in the hot tub (with the bubbles off) looking up at the stars was incredible, I’ve never been able to see so many stars at night before. We also had the best nights sleep I think we’ve ever had.

The Nest in Danehill East Sussex is an idyllic woodland retreat with four poster bed and has its own private garden. Guests benefit from free parking on site and fast WiFi. VisitEngland Tourist Board Gold Award rating for Excellence

A little late on the review, but I don't want to miss out the opportunity to review on how nice my trip to this location was. It's actually called the Nest and it felt rightly so. I was there for a week of training in Burgess Hill. It all started before arriving there, when Serena (the lovely host) sent me a link to where the location was, because without it, it would've been a bit of a challenge to get there. So, the Navigation link was very comfortable for me. Thank you Serena! Upon arrival, I was greeted by the host and she took me to the apartment to explain how everything works. First impression is that it looks so comfortable, clean, cozy and no funny odors or whatsoever. Immediately I felt at home. You can see that Serena's background of being an interior designer really pays off when seeing the place. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen was stocked!! (Bread, butter, jams, coffee, tea, etc...etc...) All was there! The bathroom is so clean and nice and having a sofa to relax after a long day of work is satisfying. Of course there's a table too when I had to get back to work. While working, I’ve enjoyed the fastest WiFi speed I’ve ever had away from home! All in all, I felt lucky to have found the Nest. I can imagine bringing my family here for a vacation too. The place is suitable for two adults with a small child. But for couples, this is excellent! The surrounding is beautiful. Hayward Heath is a few miles away if you want to find many different restaurants or cafe's. So, everything is pretty much within comfortable reach to make the stay enjoyable. Hope to come back in the future!

With beautiful gardens, Beechwood B and B offers hearty breakfasts and 5-star bedrooms. The award-winning B&B is set in the village of Halland, in scenic East Sussex.

The elegant bedrooms each have a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. The luxury bathrooms have fluffy robes and free toiletries, and all rooms feature tea/coffee facilities with fresh milk.

Carol & Ceri went above & beyond as hosts. This is an amazing bed & breakfast. They went out of their way to accommodate us on several occasions and made our trip overseas that much better. The bedroom was so cozy and there is a beautiful backyard to sit down and relax in. Breakfast was great and always punctual! Would definitely recommend to others. We also loved having their 3 dogs around!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and a perfect base for our family visit. Very nice patio area at the back. The complimentary bacon, eggs, bread, milk, and wine was a welcome touch. Location is good - close to Newick village and lots to do in the surrounding area including Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park and just over 30 minute drive to Brighton. Ann, our host was very friendly and helpful and we will happily book again!
