A majestic building with lovely gardens and wooded area. We were given a lovely, spacious room with an updated bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety food. The Poplars Guesthouse was absolutely beautiful. The whole house was beautifully decorated. The room was warm and cosy. The beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful linen. The bathroom was extremely clean with a great shower. The breakfast was wonderful. .. porridge with a dash of whiskey! The owners were extremely helpful and friendly...and Ruby the dog was gorgeous too!

It is exceptional in many ways from the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff; to the delicious breakfasts, and dinners that are available as an added option.
