Boasting private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The apartment also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

The Hive was a super cute stay located just outside of Perth. It was a clean, neat and tidy studio with a bathroom that is attached to the end of the host's house. It has all the amenities I needed for a short stay. Joyce was very friendly when I bumped into her, but she left me to myself the rest of the time, which I appreciated. Wifi worked really well, and the kitchenette was excellent for preparing meals.

We stayed at The Stable Cottages. It was very clean and every nook and cranny was cleaned. The room was very spacious and much nicer than it looked in the photos. And the staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was convenient because you could basically eat dinner at any time. Breakfast was average. The grounds are very large and it was fun to walk around. We will definitely choose this hotel when staying in the area.

The stables cottages are outstanding conversions - decorated to a high standard, while remaining comfortable. The location is wonderful - set back in the estate close to the river. And easy to strike out and explore the varied countryside. The restaurant offers clean and delicious food in a cosy stone interior. The breakfasts are unforgettable - superb kedgeree. This restaurant and inn have been in the same family for 200 years - they have clearly used the time to attain perfection.

The hotel reminded me of those family run French hotels that are relaxed but competent and professional. The staff were all lovely and friendly and dogs and kids were welcome. Our room was beautifully decorated and furnished with lovely touches such as some great heat retaining cups and coffee bags. Dinner and breakfast were great on both days.
