This charming Victorian house has picturesque gardens and plenty of free parking on site on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Surrounded by green fields and beautiful countryside, it is just 15 minutes’ walk from the sandy beaches of the Bristol Channel.

location is superb, easy access to the coast path and an easy drive to Exmoor. Breakfast was great, excellent quality. As a vegetarian who dislikes meat substitute products I often find problems when eating out, but not at Longmead House. The best breakfast I've had when away for years.

Jan and Kevin are both so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The entire hotel is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Make sure you don’t miss out on breakfast as it’s a must!! I’m sure we will be back and have already been recommending to family and friends.

Our stay at The North Cliff Hotel was incredible! The location was superb, offering stunning views. The facilities were top-notch, and the food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast (that’s what we have ordered). We were also very impressed by the thoughtful touch of providing a travel cot for our little baby. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience!

We stayed for a 2 night break to spend some time without our kids and to do a bit of walking. The Rockford Inn is a rare combination of a scenic location, good food and beer, spotless rooms and hosts who are really good fun. Recommended.

Fantastic hotel, with amazing staff and the best value for money. We paid £95 for a family bed and the rooms and food were far better than twice as expensive Tintagel hotel we stayed the night before and many other more expensive hotels we stayed during our Devon/Cornwall or Scottish trip this summer. It was a 1760 coachhouse and in great condition. Free car park at the back with direct access. Great selection of adult and kids food. Way beyond the typical pub food.
