Room was comfy. Great location in Melrose with dedicated parking. When I mentioned I had to leave early and would miss breakfast they offered a slightly earlier time so I didn't miss out 🙂 oh and ate in the restaurant for dinner the night before, it was yummy.

Our second visit within a week as we were walking the circular Borders Abbeys Way. Allerton House was our first and last night. We had the same room - Castle- as on the first visit some 6 nights previously. It was excellent and the en suite bath was much appreciated!

Luigi gave us excellent instructions to find the apartment, which is in a quiet location 10 minutes walk from the centre of Melrose. The apartment felt quite luxurious and was very reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay.

Very lovely and beatiful place, spacious room and bathroom. Tastefully decorated with good quality towels, bedding etc. Comfortable bed, very quiet at night.

We stayed one night and ate in the restaurant. The food was of a good quality and the ambiance in the restaurant pleasant. Breafast was also good with plenty of choices. Our room was clean and adequate, a little dated but completely functional. The environment of the hotel is stunning.
