Located in the west end of the gateway town of Callander, the charming Poppies Hotel is just 4 minutes' walk from the city centre and in close proximity to numerous historical attractions and rambling...

This is a first class establishment. The whole hotel is immaculate and tastefully decorated. Our room was excellent with a good layout, comfortable beds and a great en suite where everything worked. We had a warm greeting from the owners on arrival. Our breakfast was also well presented and of good quality. We have stayed here before and would not hesitate in recommending to others. We intend to stay again when next in this area

The whole vibe of the place was fantastic. We loved the kindness of the hosts, decor, food, and drinks. Also, a good playlist for background music. Lovely location. We have been bragging to our UK family that this is the place to visit in Scotland for good value. Back in Canada 🇨🇦 now, and we highly recommend your place for anyone going to Scotland. Emily , James, and your family keep doing what you're doing and thanks so much for a great stay.

Beautiful cabin, had everything you need and more, lots of thought and care in facilities provided. Lovely location and very friendly people, it's honestly been the most relaxing holiday, the hot tub was fun, the board games were played and everyone slept like a log! Great location for walks and driving, stunning drive up to Glenfinnan through Glencoe from here was breathtaking. Will definitely come again and recommend to all.

Nice cabin, comfortable stay and a really good hot tub (great at the end of a hike!). Easy to find and a great location with lots of trails within walking distance. Even with the typically British weather, it didn’t dampen things for our family

The family provided us with a warm welcome, including our dog, and everything was very homely. The Croft is beautifully decorated, breakfast was a delight, and the good hot shower was appreciated after a day hill walking.

Superb location: a fabulous property for a family holiday with grandchildren. The bedrooms were spacious with extremely comfortable beds. The children loved the games room and the beautiful garden. The adults loved it too! Elizabeth - our host - was extremely helpful and made sure all our questions were answered.

You mean what didn't we like! Absolutely nothing! Amazing place to relax and unwind for a few days. Always worth paying the little extra for the hot tub too. We stayed for an extra night and it was totally worth every penny. We even had a night with buddy the owners dog, who was just a friendly dog with everyone including our own wee dog and our toddler😊

I loved the Croft , the setting , the decir and peace and tranquillity this place transmits. I loved my host who was nothing short from special. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family and I hope to be back soon for another lovely experience. This message is from Cheryl, Spanish for Kids
