Lovely old pub in good location, excellent staff, good food. Rooms were in an annex on ground floor and 1st floor. Good facilities in rooms but being old building in need of some tlc. Good value for money. We were there for 2 nights for a wedding nearby.

Liked the seclusion of this property and the hotel
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We gathered for a family wedding reception. Devjani, Julie and the team were kind and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. It was a wonderful setting for a wedding reception with all the fires lit too. A shabby chic venue with lots of character. The exclusive use of Rowley Manor meant that we could make it our own and stay over too.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a family room as the receptionist thought the stairs to the twin room on the top floor might have been a challenge as I have a mobility problem.
The breakfast was very good and the setting very pleasant and tranquil. The bar was a lovely place to have a drink later in the evening.
excellent breakfasts, plenty of space in the ‘family room’ a large bathroom, clean towels daily, superb staff , a bar. outstanding furniture and artefacts in the house, large fireplaces, character but also a quirky place to stay.

We liked the historic building and its associated history. The staff were very good with my daughter and her baby. The evening meal was good and we enjoyed the grounds.
The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The location was great for us, visiting family in Beverley. Breakfast was delicious and there was good walking in the grounds. We didn't join in with the local croquet club although the offer was there. Altogether, we had a very pleasant visit and will be back!
