The cottage is lovely all mod cons well equipped kitchen. It was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The beds and pillows are so comfy. The owners are really nice. We had fresh eggs from the farm every day.

The staff were all efficient, helpful, and genuinely friendly (no strained fake smiles). I take this to be a sign of good management. They went out of their way to satisfy my special requests, whilst sticking to their policies. The room was spacious and spotless. Everything, like the WiFi and good-sized TV, worked. The meals were excellent value and fresh , with a surprising number of vegetarian options for a carvery. When I notified them electronically that my train was late and changed my restaurant booking to the latest possible, they called and offered to pack a take-away meal if I was any later.

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming to a solo traveler during an extended stay. Property very nice, bed comfy, good beer selection, and breakfasts excellent. Thanks to Leanne and Richie and their staff. I will stay there again.
