This property is perfect for exploring the area around Kirton in Lindsey . We booked because we had organised a reunion at the local flying club so it was the perfect location for us to access the gliding club but also to walk into the village for local shops, pubs and restaurants . The room was extremely clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed . It was so good we have already booked to stay again in the summer to take advantage of the patio area , catch up with friends and explore some walking routes in addition to my husband having an excuse to go and fly 😁 perfect hosts who informed us very clearly and accurately how to access the property. Highly recommended and worth the nightly rate. Free parking in the lay-by adjacent was perfect too. Would also recommend The George Pub and Shimla Spice both just around the corner .

The breakfast was brilliant with a wide choice of cereal, fruit juice and hot drinks. The hot croissant was an added bonus. My bedroom was well appointed and spacious. The only down side was the absence of a desk. However, as I discovered on the morning I was leaving there was a portable fold up table in the wardrobe that could have been used as a desk. Staying at Albert House was just like staying at home.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I was served promptly and cheerfully as a single diner although the place was heaving with families enjoying a Father's Day meal. The bedroom was spacious with a good view over the town square. Breakfast was prepared for me in the morning and was everything I could wish for.
We went to see our son and when we got to the George they had a comedy night which was a added bonus for us 🤣 good fun and lovely staff. Comfortable bed and really nice breakfast...who could ask for more! We have stayed there several times and we are booked in for 2nd December
Breakfast was really good - made to order after choosing from a menu.
Room was a family room - double bed with a single also and private shower/ bathroom. Was a bit noisy outside and also with other guests walking past outside corridor.
A great location, the owners were extremely friendly and their staff are a credit to their management style, as they are very friendly and polite. The food was excellent evening meal and breakfast too.
I asked if our family who live near by could join us for breakfast and the answer was no problem,it was lovely relaxing way to start the day.
A brilliant family run hotel in a quiet village location. Handy for Lincoln and the motorway if moving on. The rooms were tastefully decorated and well equipped. Excellent value for money.
The George is a warm, friendly & family hotel set in a perfect location to explore. Food was exceptional and of a high standard. Rooms were clean & comfortable.
We stayed over two nights to attend a family funeral. The staff worked endlessly to accommodate guests. What a busy hotel. We also joined in with a macmillian coffee morning at the hotel in the morning and had a lovely time. We ate at the hotel and the food was excellent. Breakfast was a bit early at 7:30 -8:30 after a 6 hour drive but apart from that everything was great
Two of stayed in a family room and it was great; large, comfortable, clean.
The owner and staff were friendly and attentive. We ate there in the evening and the food was excellent, and generous - we were both defeated by our lovely main courses! Breakfast was also very good. The old inn has some character too, and the bar / dining area are nicely decorated to give that 'contemporary coaching inn' vibe. It was excellent value for money, so why would you stay in a boring chain when you could stay here??
The room was restful, gorgeous cushions, we were warm and comfortable and sheets and towels were luxurious. We booked breakfast then added our family and we all enjoyed it
