To put my visit into context I was visiting the area to take part in the funeral of a very good friend. So naturally I was sad and more than anything wanted peace and quiet. I got it and will certainly look to coming back i n the future. A proper Haven

We have just enjoyed two weeks at Hillcrest, it's a very comfortable house, a little dated in parts but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need and more . Superbly situated for beaches and nearby Dartmouth I would say ideal for a family with children and not as pricey as some of the more modern holiday lets in that area. Quirky but very good value for money for a summer holiday in a lovely part of the South Hams.We would certainly return.would love to know it's history.za

Amazing little bolt hole which is perfectly situated. You only have to walk out the door to find some picturesque walks and it is only a few miles drive to the local beaches. A quiet place to escape which was exactly what we needed. Just a shame we couldn't stay longer! Janice and her family made us feel very welcome and at home. Everything is as described and the freshly cut flowers, bottle of wine and other goodies were an unexpected treat - thank you.

The location was central and a short walk from local cafes and restaurants which was handy during our stay. The bungalow was very well maintained, immaculately clean and had all the basic necessities that one would require during a family stay with kids. The views were beautiful too and the gardens were open with enough space for kids to play. Felt like being at a home away from home.
