A traditional, family-run inn built in the 19th-century, located a short walk from the shores of Loch Melfort, The Cuilfail has a bar, a restaurant, free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The bar has an open fire, and traditional Scottish food is served.

Very elegant hotel, with old-fashioned charm (in the past it was a drovers’ inn), clean, well organized. Very kind and very helpful staff, they welcomed us in the late evening. We didn't try the breakfast, but we enjoyed an excellent whiskey in the pub on the ground floor of the hotel, in a very familiar atmosphere. highly recommended

A wonderful place in one of the most beautiful areas I had the pleasure of visiting and which will forever be my first association thinking of Scotland. The accomodations are greatly comfortable, you couldn't wish for more in the rooms: Full kitchen, full bathroom, very nice bedrooms and beds, lovely living room and a great terrace where we actually had the weather to take all our meals there. And the hosts are beyond hospitable. We felt instantly welcome and at home and our kids where in for the greatest time.

Beautiful location, incredibly kind and warm staff, and phenomenal food. Our ferry from Isle of Mull arrived later than expected and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us for dinner even through it meant keeping them a little longer than usual. All of us were extremely pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. One of the best meals we had while we were traveling in Scotland!
