Several things were very much appreciated. First, we were allowed to stow our luggage behind the desk when we arrived hours before check-in. Second, when we made a reservation for high tea on Saturday, only to find out later that high tea is not served on Saturday, the restaurant staff went out of their way to prepare high tea for us anyway. (And it was wonderful) Third, when we could not get a taxi on Sunday morning to go to a service at the historic Kellswater R.P. Church, the desk clerk found an employee who would drive us in her own car. Fourth, when one of our party missed a step and fell, an ice bag was provided, appropriate concern was expressed, and a wheelchair was provided as we checked out. The staff is professional and accommodating, and the facility is beautiful!

Amazing location, so beautiful and perfect if traveling with a pet and want a spot outside of the city. Charlotte is a perfect host and went above and beyond for me, after a long travel in from America I felt like I was at home! Thank you for being so welcoming. We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights at the beginning of August. The house was great, had plenty of space and was very clean. Alan was a great host and gave us tourist information and a wonderful “welcome” basket with all sorts of goodies! The location is ideal for visiting Northern Ireland and we loved the silence and being surrounded by nature! I would definitely recommend Alan and the cottage!!

My family absolutely loved this property. I addition to the breathtaking views, we were also treated to a sunny, warm day where we sat on the patio and just soaked in the beauty of Ballymena. Our accommodations were perfect and was full of little touches like tea in the cupboard and toiletries in the bathroom. John & Jacqui we’re also on site and were very warm and friendly. We could have stayed forever!
