Everything was as advertised. The room was clean and comfortable, heat works well. Convenient free parking right outside the door. Breakfast was great, many options to choose from. Location is fantastic to access all that Skye has to offer. We all enjoyed our stay, thanks again to the host for providing great tips on things to do in the area.
Close to the Skye Bridge in Kyleakin village, the Kings Arms dates back to the 1600s and has panoramic views across Kyle of Lochalsh to the mainland.

We recently stayed at this hotel in the Isle of Skye and booked two rooms for one night. While one room was acceptable, the other had a persistent bad smell that never went away, making the stay quite uncomfortable. The facilities were old and basic, and we even found hairs on one of the towels provided. The staff were neither friendly nor rude, just indifferent. On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location, which was convenient for our plans. However, given the issues we encountered, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
The Dunollie Hotel has views across the sea to Loch Kishorn and the Applecross Hills. There is complimentary WiFi available in the lounge.

The staff were all lovely and our review is not a reflection of them. The food package made our trip easier because there isn’t much around, and the food was great.
Situated in Teangue and only 30 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Skye Lair features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Stunning location with beautiful views, everything you could need at your fingertips, comfy beds, great showers and a cracking log burner fire👌. The owner Melanie couldn’t have been nicer, she even left us a bottle of wine. Also the book of Skye walks she left out was really helpful, we used this all week.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London.
Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family.
I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.
Charming old hotel with lovely accomodation situated right in the Loch. Very friendly helpful staff. The pub attached was good fun for a drink before we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant on site. Great breakfast as well. You can also enjoy the guest lounge areas.
The property was set off the main road which was very quiet and relaxing.
Our room was very spacious with a sofa to chill if you have time to do so plus a roomy and functional bathroom.
Elaine was friendly and helpful. We’ve had packed lunches made for our walkers which were very good, plenty of and good value as well. Highly recommend!
Room was tastefully decorated and spotless with a beautiful view. Food was exceptional the variety of choice and standard of cooking was probably some of the best I've ever had and all of the staff were very professional friendly and more than helpful. Will certainly be coming back and recommend a stay here to friends and family. We'll worth the money made my wifes birthday special well done all of you and thanks again.
Robert.
Absolutely lovely place will definitely be coming back again soon.

After a long days driving had a fantastic meal in the evening and woke up to the one the best landscapes you could ask!
