The staff were genuinely welcoming and approachable.
We had been at Hotel Tresanton the day before and the Crown and Garter staf far exceeded those we met there in hospitality, approachability and efficiency..
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Location right next to village hall where I was attending a family event - therefore, all could have a drink without driving.
Bed was very comfortable, quiet and (with the exception of the shower) pretty clean.
The George and Dragon is an exceptionally comfortable and well equipped pub / small hotel that is staffed by friendly and welcoming staff. Whilst my family and I were only able to have breakfast during our stay this was excellent.
We shall certainly return.

Thia was a great trip! We stayed as a family of 4, my parents were on 1 room and myself and my 9 year old son shared a room. The staff were absolutely amazing, the food was delicious. I honestly couldn't fault this gorgeous place. Everything about it was brilliant, lots of small little details that made it even better.
