The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernised 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Some parts date back as far as 1135 and it has kept some of its original design features.

The only suggestion I would have is to allow the opportunity to dine in one of the more original old areas.

We really loved staying in Daynesfield House. From the moment we drove up the winding driveway and saw the Christmas lights all over the driveway entrance trees we gasped in amazement. It was pretty spectacular. The rooms were lovely, spacious.bathroom also very lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was beautiful.?The interiors are breath taking and the gardens just romantically beautiful.Would absolutely recommend staying here.A most memorable experience if you love grandeur and stately homes.

Fantastic hotel, restaurant and bar. Already recommended to family. Spotlessly clean, staff friendly and welcoming. Great selection of drinks. We only had the continental breakfast but this was first class. Perfect size bedroom with great comfy bed.

We absolutely loved our time here, down a country lane in the forest, the place is just magical (by luck we even had snow). the place is recently refurbished and can sleep at least 5, probably six, and was clean and well maintained. the host and family were very helpful and even did some shopping for our arrival after a long flight, knowing we were travelling with small kids.

This is a hidden gem. Matt is a superb host , nothing is too much trouble. We've had a lovely stay and can't wait to come back. The open space for the kids and dog was an added bonus. The food is also very good. Thank you for having us .
