The barn was very warm and clean. We had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Great shower. We were happy with everything.

Our room was very clean, smartly furnished, with a super comfy huge bed and a good shower. The room has obviously been recently renovated and a very good job has been made of it! We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. Staff were professional, helpful and very friendly.

The York Bird of Pret Centre is also based in the grounds and was a fantastic place to go for a family visit
Have stayed here numerous times when we come up to visit family. Never any issues. The restaurant staff are always fab and polite with good food. The room was very small, the bathroom had a funny smell to it.
Quite nice. Functional. Restaurant fair. Overpriced drinks and wine. Breakfast good. Never had what appeared to be knitted sausages before so that was novel. Great spot to tour around. And fantastic raptor sanctuary right next door. Amazing birds and falconers. Great Indian restaurant just a mile or so up the road.
