Ravencar was not only great value and perfectly located but very clean and had good facilities. Helen was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her to make my stay enjoyable. I have travelled the world extensively and I can quite honestly say that Helen provides 5 star service. Breakfast provided a varied choice and was delicious. I even set up an agility course one day to train my puppy. I will definitely be visiting again.

Characterful and great location. Beautiful views front and back. Friendly, welcoming staff. Good sized family room. Really comfortable beds and nice linen and towels. Newly refurbished (in 2021 I believe) and very clean with lovely thick carpet and TV streaming services. Nice breakfast.
This was a return stay to visit family in Sheffield to a beautifully renovated pub with four en suite bedrooms above the bar. We were allocated room 2 which was rather small for a double room but an excellent shower en suite.
The place was spotlessly clean.....the bedroom was newly decorated......the shower was good......the beds (in the family room) comfy.......and the staff friendly.
We visited the area as we were attending a family birthday party nearby. We would definitely recommend this pub, both for the selection of beers and wines, but also for their accommodation. Our room was very comfortable and clean, great shower! Jeni was an excellent host, very welcoming and cooked a great breakfast, freshly cooked using local produce.
