The size of this place is so impressive and yet oddly doesn't feel too big for two people. It has a superb layout with great characteristic features. Amazing kitchen with a nice big oven. The upstairs lounge is very relaxing. The WiFi worked fine but the welcome book needs updating though, as the WiFi information is not current.
Typically we got good old UK weather (plenty of rain), which turned the rear garden into a muddy pond. This sadly stopped us from using the hot tub, as the ground was so wet. Had the weather been better we would have definitely used it.

The Thatched Cottage set in a picturesque garden within the historic village of Hever where the castle was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn the second wife of Henry VIII and the mother of Queen Elizabeth I.
The shower room was adequate although provision of toiletries is lacking (necessary to pack your own). The décor of the log shed is clean, fresh and only suitable for a stay-over as the accommodation is cramped (Elaine is a dress size 6 and I am medium build) like the shoe box at the bottom of the garden!
Very clean & tidy. Very comfortable. Lots of room. Excellent offering of a chiller cabinet which is essential with small children. Great location for Hever and beyond. Very good service from staff with bed requested made up for when we arrived, communication impeccable. Really enjoyable stay. Thank you. We will be back!
Wendy and Ivor are lovely hosts, they couldn't of been more friendly and helpful. They even left 2 large chocolate Santas' for our 2 children which was a very kind touch.
The lodges themselves were of a very high standard, very clean, warm and cosy in a lovely setting.
Perfect for our trip to Hever Castle, literally on the doorstep.
Highly recommend to anyone - please do stay, you won't be disappointed!
Myself and family liked everything about this B & B. The Rooms were very well presented and comfortable. The location was ideal for our trip to Hever Castle to attend a wedding - we could walk to the church and the Castle. The hosts, Wendy and Ivor are truly lovely people and nothing is too much trouble for them. Will be returning next year for another short break
