Excellent pub with old character and the rooms were equally characterful! Very olde world feel which was very much in keeping with the character of Hay on Wye. Breakfast was superb quality with attentive service and quality ingredients.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very clean modern and comfortable lovely bed and all facilities we needed parking space and easy access
We had to leave early due to a family emergency but would come back
The townhouse was a modern conversion with loads of character, amenity and comfort . The four sizeable bedrooms set over two floors were nicely furnished and decorated and the kitchen/ dining room was well equipped . The property was located in the centre of Hay and shops, pubs and attractions were on the doorstep. Everything was a described .
The breakfast was amazing, to be honest I would travel back just for the breakfast! it was far superior to any other B&B or hotel! The setting is gorgeous, we ate in the conservatory which is surrounded by a back field with sheep and a baby lamb. Super peaceful and quiet too
We stayed in the safari tents which were incredibly clean and beautifully styled. The beds were so comfy and the log burner was a fantastic touch. You get individual shower rooms which made the whole “camping” experience so much easier! The food and bar on Wednesday was wonderful and super reasonably priced and Paul, Kesri and Marta were so friendly and welcoming. The whole family were super attentive and so kind to our one year old. The farm tour was so much fun, Marta was incredibly knowledgeable and we loved feeding the animals!
The hosts are among the friendliest, kindest, and most caring people I’ve met while travelling! The apartment is located on a family farm, the clean contemporary farmhouse interior style and antique mixed with mid-century furniture pieces helped me clear my mind and relax. It is an extremely idyllic place, I got woken up by the geese honking outside the balcony. Such a peaceful, tranquil place to recharge and have some good sleep. There's a large supermarket 5 mins walk from the property so you can get anything you need.
We visited Hay on Wye for a funeral but Seven Stars was a lovely place to stay - from the welcome, the room, the breakfast everything was excellent. Many thanks and we will visit again
A beautifully presented, well located town house in the centre of one of my favourite places on earth, Hay on Wye. Perfect for our family of 5! We were really impressed and it exceeded expectations. Everything was so clean, well equipped and lots of nice little touches.
Location was excellent, it was family friendly, the owners couldn't do enough, and it was so comfortable, the veg garden was well thought out an added extra.
