Everything was perfect from being personally checked in, to our stunning Executive Twin Room, to our breakfast, the Spa to all the wonderful staff, the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere. My friend and I both felt at home, relaxed, looked after and made to feel very special. A truly beautiful time and place to stay. we will definately be back. Thank you The Grand.

Perfect location, only a short walk into the city. The room was spacious and clean with everything we needed, including tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
TV in the room offered plenty of channels, although we didn't really use it.
The bathroom was exceptional with plenty of hot water, soft towels and some toiletries.
Breakfast was served promptly and nothing was too much trouble. The waiting staff had one purpose, and that was to ensure every guest had everything they wanted and needed.
On arrival we were greeted and provided with detailed information about the area, as well as a map that directed us into town. There are plenty of menus and local business information available.
Co-op across the road should you need it and a gorgeous little bar if you fancy a drink or two before heading in for the night.
The car park is small but there is no extra fee, so it was ideal for our stay.
We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel spotlessly clean and all staff without exception friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Lovely grounds/golf course and super comfy rooms. Delicious food very well presented in restaurants.

Perfectly located for our mini break with 2 children. 10 mins to park and ride into York and 10 minutes to a large leisure shopping park/supermarkets. The kids loved the bath at the end of the bed and we found it handy to have a kitchenette for food prep. Useful to have washing up liquid/tea towels and extra loo rolls etc as these aren’t often included. Apartment was clean and smelt fresh on arrival. Plenty of towels/hand towels provided.
The location was perfect for visiting our family nearby and the beds were very comfy. The Kitchen was also well stocked with all the crockery and utensils you could need. We were also impressed and welcomed the bits for our toddler.
Lovey, spacious room with everything we needed. Very nicely decorated and having the big bath in the room was a fun extra. The thoughtful extras left for us (chocolate, wine and crisps) was a really nice touch.
