An absolutely beautiful wee annex in an even more stunning location. Everything we could need was provided, including some eggs from the owners hens which was a super welcome bonus! The bed is very comfortable and the shower hot and strong which is exactly what you need. I only wish we were staying for longer!

Only affordable accomodatin i could find in the Highlands. The location is lovely, located in the valley between hills and farmlands near very quiet village with nice shop, caffe and a pub. Not very turisty, lot of opportunities for hiking, nice partly sandy beach nearby. The lady in charge is very nice. Accomodation is quite outdated, except the kitchen, which is new. But everyting was clean and there was everything we needed, so it was very comfortable.

It’s absolutely beautiful location, although bit scary narrow roads to get there, but breathtaking. There is no mobile phone signal which I actually enjoyed ☺️ but there is wifi. chalet was very clean and well equipped. There is about 30min walk to the village with the shop, pub and play park for kids.

Glenelg is so peaceful, the drive to get there over Ratagan Pass is beautiful with stunning views. Skye View is beautiful, a lovely size for family staying together with plenty of room and the view from the house is exceptional, ever changing with the light as the sun sets no matter the weather.

The house was amazing. Our family had a great time staying here. Top marks for the welcome pack, other thoughtful touches (like hot water bottles and children's toys) and, of course, the view!

Really nice house, friendly host, beautiful place, incredible views, sparkling clean, space for parking, secured garden for dog or kids. We had everything in the house what we needed, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Downstairs bathroom and toilet, one bedroom downstairs- great for disabled. Nice size 2 bedrooms upstairs, comfy beds. We found nice playground for kids 5 minutes driving from house. Highly recommended place for family.

Effie made us very welcome, it was like home from home. Very comfortable, the freedom of the Highlands is a treasure to experience and Glenelg is a perfect location with a lovely local Inn, a children's park & just enough shops to keep you going. Skye is an hour drive so easy to explore the sites. Great for families with active children & pets!
