The Saracens Head Hotel, hotel in Faringdon

The Saracens Head Hotel has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Highworth.

The little market town, where the Saracen's Head is placed is a gem - very pretty. The Saracen's Head itself is a characterful Tudor building. The bar and dining room were characterful too. Plenty of local ales, a varied menu and lovely staff and locals. The evening meal was delicious. All "homemade", fresh ingredients and plentiful portions.

Lovely grounds and location. Clean comfortable rooms. Everything working and up to date. Food was excellent particularit breakfast. Staff super friendly. Beautiful floodlight terrace. Gardens maintained and lovely. Parking easy. All effortless. We stayed overnight with family and had dinner in the terrace room. There was a wedding on that they were solicitous in telling us about ahead but we ate in a different part of the hotel and it was all lovely.

Family-friendly with style. Really lovely rooms, nicely appointed and decorated. Cosy and Christmassy lounge, serving free coffee. Diner booths are great. Cocktails are very good. Waffles are fluffy and delicious. Front of house staff in diner are brilliant, same for the Motel lounge.
