Weeke Barton, hotel in Exeter

Set in Exeter, 20 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, Weeke Barton offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Sam and Jo couldn't have been more welcoming to their lovely home. We had a very relaxed stay at Weeke Barton where the facilities were superb. The house is very rustic with low ceilings and with spacious comfortable rooms. The bed was huge and the bathroom modern and clean. The 'honesty' bar was a nice touch and there was a relaxing fire to sit in front of every night. Sam had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and was always willing to share. Breakfast was lovely with good choices on the menu. We would be happy to return in the future. Thanks again to Sam and Jo for making us feel welcome.

The staff were remarkable. They were all friendly, chatty, absolutely amazingly helpful. They made the stay so comfortable for us. They were all a joy to be around. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety. Special cutlery and plates for the children. We also had dinner at the hotel which was nice. The staff were very accommodating of the small children and had lots of suggestions for ways to make the meal suitable for them. Our dog had a welcome gift too!

My family loved the house, very neat and cosy. Jo was very helpful in assisting with anything you may need. Very welcoming host. The little lake is beautiful and there is plenty of green space for the kids to run and play. Very peaceful and relaxing house and location. The renting price is also affordable. Welcoming neighbours too. Amenities aren't far, it took us an average of 20 minutes drive to move around and get what we needed. This is a great house and location to spend fantastic quality family time.

The set up of the room was prefect our family. The gentlemen on the midnight reception was so friendly. However our room was had sick in the sink which we notified reception and sorted it. The member of staff although friendly didn’t knock on the door whilst sorting this out. Parking is limited but city centre location. Noise outside hotel issue. The major bug bear was our location of room we had two small children and we weren’t near the lift and had to walk through a long corridor, fire doors to access our room.

Amazing location to sightsee. Family friendly. Love the interlocking rooms which is extremely helpful when you're a family of 5. Kids love it. Feels very luxurious. Breakfast is amazing and the kids were overjoyed at the addition of the waffle maker. This is our 3rd time staying and won't be our last 😊
