Balconie Steading was very clean and there are a couple of pretty and interesting short walks nearby. It was functional, in a central location for heading out in any direction and very close to the A9 if you want to do so. It’s also close to the local co-op which was great for topping up. The people we met out and about and in the village were all very friendly and the Wifi connection was very good.

    - Ed & Emily were a great Father & Daughter host tram. It was also nice to meet Ash (Emily’s husband) who helped with breakfasts one morning. - the environment was relaxed, a beautiful setting and a nice, friendly welcome from this family of owners. Nothing was too much trouble. - great attention to detail - lovely, extensive home cooked breakfast

The grounds to the property were much larger than expected and excellent for the kids to run around. The lodge also backs on to a forest with direct access through a gate - another winner for the kids. Large decking completely undercover made this a fab space in all weathers. The Beautiful en suite bedroom opening on to the decking was amazing.
