Marshall Meadows Manor House, hotel in East Ord

England's most northerly hotel, just 300 yards from the Scottish Border, the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and boasts sea views and good food.

It was a beautiful old Manor House as you approached, upon entering you were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. After checking in a second member of staff showed us to our room and offered to carry our luggage. The room was very clean and spacious, an excellent on suite shower room. It also had a well stocked tea and coffee making facility.

The Roxburgh Guest Accommodation, hotel in East Ord

Set in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, The Roxburgh Guest Accommodation is a recently renovated accommodation, 300 metres from Spittal Beach and 3 km from Cocklawburn Beach.

The room was clean and spacious with chairs and a fridge. Only a limited number tv stations. Breakfast was fine with a lot of choice. Nice hotel for quiet stayf choice. Staff were friendly and helpful, though not there overnight. The location was okay for a quiet break though the local pubs don't serve meals and there was just a cafe and amusements nearby on the beach. Bus ride to town takes approx 15 minutes. Nice for quiet stay.

Mirandas Guest House, hotel in East Ord

Situated 300 metres from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema, 23 km from Lindisfarne Castle and 33 km from Bamburgh Castle, Mirandas Guest House features accommodation located in Berwick-Upon-Tweed.

Robin (The Host) was extremely welcoming and cooked a lovely heart filling breakfast for the time of stay. Room was very cosy and had all the basic amenities aswell as a sink/mirror (which I thought was very useful, rather than using the bathroom everytime). Both the toilet and bathroom were kept clean and were located right beside bedroom. The B&B is a perfect location for those who want to explore Berwick-upon-Tweed and nearby surroundings areas. Local busses and busses along the Northumberland coast run from nearby the accommodation. The B&B is great value for money, perfect for those looking to spend a few nights away and a perfect base to explore the Northumberland and Scottish Coast.

The property is in an ideal location, quick drive to the beach and a quick drive into Berwick. The little park was fab for our two year old, that’s all he asked for. It was lovely and quiet, perfect for a little family getaway.

Really comfortable and cosy home in ideal location. Very quiet and private but so close to Berwick and other attractions of Northumberland. Thoughtful touches in the house and provided cot and bath for baby.
