The staff at the hotel were great, so friendly and helpful.
I think his name was James on the check in, he showed us the anvil coach house which we really appreciated.
The grounds of the hotel are really nice loved the little pathways around the side of the property.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
All was great - staff were fantastic, so welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious - and amazing value. The room was wonderful and the bed so comfortable. The property is charming - with a function room, ballroom, games room and on it goes. Expansive and well kept grounds and so secluded. This was such a lucky find - we were just stopping over on our drive up to the Highlands. We will certainly be back.
Beautiful location, lovely cottage with extremely helpful and friendly staff. It was wonderful to have our own space with family in cottage but option to have breakfast etc in the main hotel. Breakfast was amazing!! The main house is beautiful and the most lovely grounds with lots of wildlife. Added bonus of car charging on site! Highly recommend for a break and looking forward to returning in spring/ summer.
The cottage was newly decorated, clean and comfortable. However it was unfortunate that it was advertised as suitable for 4 adults when the only bathroom and toilet facilities were through one couples bedroom and therefore very difficult overnight with 2 separate couples. Ideal for a young family with 1 young child but not for 4 adults
The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond! Gorgeous house and location. Food was excellent quality, I would eat here as a restaurant let alone just when using it as a hotel. We felt like we were staying at a National Trust property! Room was a spacious family room with comfy beds. I will definitely be staying again.
Springkell is such a beautiful hotel with amazing staff. The hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained. They even had games console for the children to use. 🙂. The grounds outside were well maintained and clean. maintained
the most unspoilt lovely stately home, with genuine and lovely staff and owners. Hard to describe but it felt like staying with friends in a amazing location and building
We had requested a twin bedded room. The hotel offered a single double but had an alternative family room available which was very comfortable.
The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast.
A totally unexpected location. A cross between historic family seat and modern high spek facilities. It is rather off the beaten track, but once you have found it, you won't want to leave. Exceptional value for money and superb service.
