It was as described with a nice uninterrupted view over the bay. It was all very compact but very cosy and proved to be a lovely stay. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent and very good value. Staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend.

Granny's cottage was ideal for our trip to visit family in Dunbeath. The cottage had everything we needed with a fully equipped kitchen. Hazel was available for any questions and check in/out was very easy. Easy walk to Dunbeath beach and access to local shop.

We didn't have breakfast but next door is The Bay restaurant which was delicious for dinner. The location was lovely and showed off the beautiful Scottish countryside. The pods were super clean and perfect - very romantic but also perfect for our family to stay across three pods. Milk is provided and there is a newsagent just across the road. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

The welcome hamper was really good,( bread, milk, butter, jam, biscuits, eggs, sweets, coffee pods x 4 ) the bread was amazing really enjoyed it and the jam was good as well, eggs were nice. The bed was nice and comfortable, the shower was good. Bed linen was really nice and the décor was well thought out. The location was great for we were up with family that were staying near by. I have been to Dunbeath before and know the area. Ray met us on arrival but never seen him again, but we were out a lot. Never met Amanda
