Marshwood Farm B&B and Shepherds Hut, hotel in Dinton

Offering a garden and garden view, Marshwood Farm B&B and Shepherds Hut is located in Dinton, 15 km from Salisbury Train Station and 15 km from Salisbury Racecourse.

I was absolutely blown away by this stunning B&B! It is a truly gorgeous house and the bedroom was huge, super comfortable, wonderfully quiet and amazingly clean. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had away from home, all local produce and cooked perfectly. I had stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Berlin the night before - I prefer Marshwood Farm! The host was so welcoming and lovely, I felt like I was coming to stay with old friends! I am busy working out other reasons for visiting the area in order to come and stay again, this time with friends and family!

Amazing staff, warm, friendly and efficient. Attention to detail throughout the whole hotel was really impressive. The food was superb, and staff in the restaurant were a total credit to the hotel. We felt like valued guests, and that’s such a rare thing to feel these days.

Good communication with owners before visit. Very kind and helpful during stay. Loved the powerful shower in the wet room. Nice sunny room for breakfast. The room I was in would be great for a family - bunk beds and 2 single beds that can be converted to a double.

It was clean, comfortable and we as a family were able to stay in one room together with our own private bathroom. It was good to have parking there too.

Friendliest place we have ever stayed! Staff are just lovely and incredibly accommodating. Food was excellent and the curry I had was better than our local takeaways. The family room was perfect - very spacious and clean with a very large bathroom. Thank you Andre and team - we look forward to staying with you again!

Great hosts. Even though we were in the middle of a surprise heatwave, the house was surprisingly cool. The "Green Room" was spacious with a pleasant view of the gardens. The bed was very comfortable. Fiona's breakfast was spot on. Fresh ingredients, including eggs from their hens. Cooked superbly and served on time-tested family earthenware. ;-) Also, the hosts are very helpful if you require advice on the local area and attractions. Fantastic.

Easy to locate, lovely spacious rooms. Breakfast was good enough for us. Had everything we needed for a night. Comfortable beds too. Easy carpark. Lovely countryside feel area. Just 3 minutes to an event we were attending which was a big bonus for us especially a family with 4 children.
